Tandem Paragliding in Sabah has started for quite some years now, but has recently become a popular outdoor activity in Sabah. As for now, there are two places that you can go for Tandem Paragliding in Sabah, which is in Lohan, Ranau and Kokol Hill, Menggatal.

Here are a few tips that you need to know before you go for tandem paragliding in Sabah:

1) Know The Restrictions

You would need to know some of the rules and regulations before going for a tandem paragliding. Any kids or participants, aged 17 years old and below, must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. The minimum and maximum weight of the participant who wants to join this is 30kg and 110kg, respectively.

NOTE: It is not recommended for those who have a height-phobia to join this activity.

2) Contact the Tandem Master to Book the Activity Time Slot

There are no walk-ins as this activity is not available on a daily basis. You would have to contact the tandem master in advance and make full payment before your activity date. A last minute booking would not be possible to reserve your tandem paragliding activity early.

3) Wear Proper Shoes

Paragliding is considered as an extreme and adventurous activity. So, it is important to wear a proper and comfortable pair of shoes as well as your outfit. You surely would want to avoid any possibility of danger that could occur while you are paragliding.

Tandem Paragliding is not something that everyone wants to do, unless you are an extreme adrenaline junkie. It makes you squirm for the next few nights, prior to the day of flying, and keep you wide awake, thinking, “Why in the world did I decide to do this?”.
