It is important for you to wear the right footwear when climbing Mount Kinabalu. It is blindingly obvious that wearing slippers, sandals or working shoes is definitely out of the question! It is recommended that you chose sturdy, warm and insulated shoes that has good non-slip soles that will serve you well when you navigate the rocky and uneven path when climbing Mount Kinabalu. A good pair of shoes will also protect your feet from the sub-alpine climate of Mount Kinabalu.
